RESEARCH INTERESTS: Translation studies, literary translation and creativity, retranslation, the translation and reception of classical literature, poetry translation

My own Fulbright experience was full of riches and expanded considerably my academic network – all the while reenergizing a lifelong interest in American culture and life. As an academic member of the Ionian University, I have advised numerous students as they explored a path in postgraduate education, or the possibility of internships through the Erasmus+ program. Therefore, I would relish the opportunity to assist potential Fulbright scholars in connecting with US institutions; and also welcome grantees to our own university, in Corfu.
