Information for U.S. College and University Representatives

The Fulbright Foundation in Greece is pleased to announce the Virtual U.S. University Fair, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Athens local time (UTC+3 EEST). 
The Fair will take place solely online.

The U.S. University Fair is well established as Greece's top event for students, parents, teachers, and counselors to learn about educational opportunities available in the United States at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Each year the Fair attracts hundreds of visitors rendering it a highly visible and successful event.

You are invited to join us so that your institution is among those that Greek students consider for their studies. Greece ranks among the top countries in the world from which students go abroad to pursue higher education degrees and provides an applicant pool that many U.S. institutions highly value.

We welcome representation of U.S. higher education institutions at either the undergraduate or graduate levels, or both.

Fair Participation & Eligibility

U.S. accredited higher education institutions only. Admissions officers and/or local alumni representatives are welcome to represent their home institution or alma mater.

Free Participation for 2020

As this is a pilot program, this year's event will be offered free of charge to participating U.S. colleges or universities.

Registration

Registration Deadline: August 31, 2020

Please note the following will be needed when proceeding with your registration:

• Text and material required for Fair participation During the registration process, all participating U.S. Colleges or Universities are required to provide a brief institutional profile (600 characters max), the institution's website link, admission office contact information (phone and email), headshot photo with names/titles of the admission officer(s) participating and a copy of the official university/college logo.  All graphics/photos must be provided as either .jpeg or .png files. The Fulbright Foundation reserves the right to edit the profile for consistency and clarity
• A 3-4 minute online video with campus and institutional overview (YouTube link)
• Home institution's Webinar link so visitors can connect directly with your U.S. college or university on the day of the Fair.  The Webinar links will go live a few days in advance of the event
• Format required for the Fair: The Fair will run from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. local time Athens. During this time, the U.S. higher education institutions represented will need to host three (3) presentations.  Each presentation will run live on the hour and every hour and up to 15-20 minutes in length. The representative(s) will then need to be available for another 20-25 minutes for Q&A via chat. There will be a 15-minute break before the next presentation begins
