The Fulbright Foundation in Greece hosted its annual Pre-Departure Orientation session on June 23, 2015. The “Session” takes place each year in mid to late June and includes presentations by students currently studying in the United States, Fulbright scholars and Fulbright Greece’s educational adviser and deals with a variety of topics on US education and culture.

Some of the topics covered during the Pre-Departure Session were: Student visas and SEVIS, cultural adjustment and American culture, financial matters and housing, practical things to know and making US studies a great educational and personal experience.

This is an invaluable session which helps students prepare for living and studying in the USA.

12 graduate and undergraduate students attended the event this year.
