On June 13 and 14, pre-departure orientation sessions were held at the Fulbright Foundation's office in Athens for all departing 2017-2018 grantees: students, artists and scholars. Sessions include information on visa documentation requirements, travel arrangements, cultural adjustment, health insurance and medicine, financial and tax issues, housing, strategies for packing, departure and arrival checklists etc. Grantees are joined by Fulbright alumni who share their Fulbright experiences and by U.S. grantees or visitors who give their take on life in the U.S. compared to Greece.
